Traces of an ancient village found on the right bank of the Mladejka River opposite the Gradishteto place.

A four-sided altar without traces of inscription placed in the St.Ilia church. There is a fragment of millstone close to the iconostasis. The church floor is covered with flat and square antique bricks. Such bricks and ceramic fragments were discovered during ploughing in the Marino selishte place.

Traces of old Roman road are discovered north and south of the village in the direction of Malko Tarnovo. The discovered inscriptions tell about a sanctuary dedicated to Zeus, Hera and Heracul.
