The church Sveti Georgi


The church "Sveti Georgi" (St. George) was built in 1856. It was burnt down during the April Uprising and was restored in 1878-1880.

The new iconostasis was made by masters from the town of Strouga. the church is considered as the town's cathedral temple and used to be one of the largest and most impressive temples in Bulgaria.
