Constantine Shishman

The rule of the Bdin area, in vassal position to the Ottoman Empire, was given to King Ivan Sratsimir's son Constantine. He and his cousin Fruzhin, son to the King of Turnovo Ivan Shishman, tried to take advantage of the ten years' fued among Sultan Bayazid I's sons and joined an Anti-Ottoman alliance, led by the Hungarian King Sigismund V in 1404. They put up a rebellion in Turnovo and Bdin in 1408. The rebellion was put downl, but Constantine continued his reign until 1412-1413 (according to some sources even until 1421).

He died in Belgrade on 17 September 1422.
