Bulgarian envoys to seek EU evaluation in Brussels

Date: 08.10.2005

Members of a joint EU-Bulgaria committee left for Brussels Sunday, to seek an EU assessment of Bulgaria's accession efforts.

The mission of the EU-Bulgaria Joint Consultative Economic and Social Committee (JCC) comes just days before the European Commission should release an annual report on the efforts of Bulgaria and Romania to progress.

Among the members of the delegation are trade union leaders Zhelyazko Hristov and Konstantin Trenchev.

The envoys are planning to hold a number of meetings with representatives of the European institutions, the Bulgarian National Radio said.
