Bulgarian Minister Prized E-Train Ticket to Brussels

Date: 02.06.2006

Bulgaria's Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev was the first to receive an electronic train ticket from Rila international travel agency.

During a ceremony marking the launch of the agency's new services Mutafchiev was issued a return ticket from Sofia to Brussels.

The minister also received an extra one to Berlin, so he could watch the world football championship. He said he would give this one to a random sports journalist from Bulgaria.

Rila travel agency announced that they have expanded their partnership with the state railways and they are now able to book their clients e-tickets for a train ride abroad.
