Another Teen Dies Falling off Rock near Bulgaria's Veliko Tarnovo

Date: 27.10.2006

A 19-year-old boy has died, falling off a rock near a mountaineers' house in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, Northern Bulgaria.

The boy has been identified as Hristo Rossenov Hristov from the town of Popovo.

Police said his death was an accident.

This is the second time this year that the rocks in the picturesque town of Tarnovo claim the life of a Bulgarian teenager.

Mina Eneva, 14, slipped in the rocky area on July 22, plunging into a 20-meter-deep precipice and cracking her skull. Her boyfriend Hristo Bozadzhiev, 21, tried to save her but slipped down too, got tangled up in some bushes, which saved him.

After the tragic accident, Mina's parents made the hardest choice in their lives and decided to donate her organs, hoping to save other people's children.
