Sofia's second open-air ice-skating ring will open today, Darik News reported.
Communication 2000 Advertising Company and the Hungarian Programata Media Group constructed the venue, located behind the capital's National Palace of Culture.
The ring, named Ice Park Nescafe 3 in 1 will work from 10 a.m. in the morning until 10 a.m. at night.
Everyone who owns skates and wants to do a whirl or two at the new facility will be allowed to do so for free throughout the day.
The ice ring will give skates for rent for those who do not have their own. Personal instructors will be also available for beginners.
The ice ring will be dismantled when the temperatures reach 12 degrees Celsius.
The winter park will have an open stage, food and beverages pavilion and open-air bars.
People can buy tickets for the ice ring from music stores, ticket centres, or book online, said one of the owners, Chaba Pankotay.
