At Least 1200 German Companies Invested in Bulgaria Since the 90s

Bulgaria’s economy was among the fastest developing in Europe, its annual growth rate reaching six per cent, German newspaper Die Welt reported.

At least 1200 German companies expanded their business activities to Bulgaria since the 1990s, the report said. More than 4500 German companies were taking part in transactions throughout Europe.

Bulgaria offered low production costs, inexpensive labour hand and low corporate taxation, Die Welt reported.

The currency was stable and Bulgaria was rapidly developing its infrastructure, the report said.

German investors in Bulgaria could benefit from the services of Nest Agentur agency, providing more information on economic developments and the business climate.

The agency also offered solutions to bureaucratic problems that investors could face while trying to establish their business activities in Bulgaria, Die Welt reported.
