Firm left Bulgaria’s exhibition stand in London without electricity to be sanctioned

Date: 14.11.2007

The Chairwoman of the State Agency for Tourism Anelia Krushkova said the firm that had left Bulgaria’s stand without electricity at the World Travel Market international tourist exhibition in London would be sanctioned. During Monday’s opening ceremony the Bulgarian stand was left without electricity and computer connection, while Bulgarian participants, the hosts and guests were left with negative impressions.

In an interview Krushkova has said the firm won under the Bulgarian Public Procurements Act the right to work out Bulgaria’s stand for five tourist exhibitions. The one in London is the first and the firm did not do well. The cost of the procurement amounts to the total of BGN 826,000.
