Pre-project study of Sofia’s traffic costs EUR 200,000

Date: 29.01.2008

The pre-project study of Sofia’s traffic costs EUR 200,000. It will be conducted under Partners for Road program of the Dutch Transport Ministry. The funding will be granted free to the Municipality of Sofia. This was announced after Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov and Dutch ambassador to Bulgaria Willem van Ee signed a memorandum of cooperation.

After conducting the study, a road traffic system will be installed.

The project is in accordance with the partnership line between the Netherlands and Bulgaria, which dates to the pre-accession period and continues even now.
