Moody's lowers credit ratings of three Bulgarian banks

Date: 06.10.2008

Moody's Investor Service, one of world's top financial analysis corporations, lowered the perspectives on the ratings of the foreign currency deposits of three Bulgarian banks.

The perspective of the DSK Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, and Pireus Bank was changed from positive to stable. The ratings of the other banks on the Bulgarian market remain unchanged.

This decision comes after last week Moody's lowered Bulgaria's perspective on the foreign currency deposits from positive to stable.

The assets of the DSK Bank are estimated to be BGN 8,371 B, Raiffeisen Bank's assets stand at BGN 6,985 B, and those of Pireus Bank are BGN 4,064 B.
