BILLA Opens Its 35th Bulgarian Store in Southeast Town of Harmanli

The German-owned supermarket chain BILLA opened Saturday its thirty-fifth store in Bulgaria in the southeast town of Harmanli.

This is sixth store that BILLA opens in Bulgaria in 2008. Only ten days ago BILLA opened a supermarket in another town in southeast Bulgaria, Svilengrad.

The ribbon was cut by the chief operational director of BILLA Bulgaria Diana Todorova, the Mayor of Harmanli Mihail Leskov, and the Deputy Mayor Geno Genov.

The total area of the new store is 1 251 square meters. It employs 34 people.

The supermarket chain BILLA was founded in Austria in the 1950s. In 1996 it was purchase by the German company REWE.
