Bulgarian Immigrants Form 5th Largest Community in UK

The Bulgarian immigrants have formed the fifth largest community of foreign nationals in Great Britain, according to a comparative statistical record of the number of immigrants in the UK in 2004 and 2010.

The Slovakian immigrants currently have the largest foreign community in the UK, as their number increased from just eight thousand in 2004 to 49 000 in 2010. For comparison, there were 11 000 Bulgarian immigrants in the UK in 2002, while their number reached 53 000 in 2010.

All top-five immigrant communities in the UK are from Eastern Europe, the other three countries in addition to Slovakia and Bulgaria being Latvia, Poland and Romania.
