Big archaeological finds of 2005 on display

Date: 18.12.2005

Bulgarian archaeologists enjoyed a fruitful year in 2005. A wonderful proof of this is the exposition of new finds displayed at the National Museum of Archaeology.

The undoubted hit of this year's discoveries is the burial place of a Thracian nobleman near the village of Zlatinitsa, Elhovo region.

The exhibits dating back from the Bronze and early Iron Age, found in the Ada Tepe locality near Krumovgrad also attract experts' interest. The finds excavated in the region of Svilengrad are really impressive. The exposition will be open for visitors on December 28.
